Flow Breaker System
In the sieving process, even distribution of the material is essential to ensure effective and consistent separation. When the product tends to concentrate in a single point or to flow unevenly, there is a risk of accumulation, early wear of the networks and a reduction in the overall efficiency of the system. To solve this problem, Vibrowest proposes the flow breaker system, an accessory designed to interrupt and redistribute the flow of incoming material.
The flow breaker acts as a deflection element within the vibrating screener, fragmenting the product stream and promoting its homogeneous dispersion on the sieving surface. This allows to make the most of the entire useful area of the screener, improving yield and reducing the risk of localised overload.
Made of resistant and easily sanitisable materials, the flow breaker system is compatible with different configurations of Vibrowest vibrating screeners and can be customised according to the type of material treated and the layout of the system. It is particularly useful in processes involving fine powders, light granules or products with irregular behaviour in the fall phase.
