For this reason, Vibrowest proposes the use of jacketed bottoms, a solution designed to allow the passage of thermoregulatory fluids – such as hot or chilled water – inside the screener structure.
The jacketed bottoms consist of a metal jacket that wraps around the bottom of the screener, forming a cavity through which the fluid can circulate. This system allows the bottom of the sieve to be heated or cooled in a controlled manner, helping to maintain ideal operating conditions for the separation process.
This solution is particularly suitable in applications where temperature affects the viscosity, fluidity or reactivity of the treated materials. In addition to improving the efficiency of the process, jacketed bottoms help prevent the adhesion of materials and ensure a more uniform distribution on the sieving surface.
