LF Dryer

Vibrowest LF Dryer are an advanced solution for the continuous drying of loose solid materials, such as powders, granules or crystals. Thanks to fluiduised bed technology, the product is vibrated and suspended in a flow of air or inert gas that can be used for different process solutions such as drying, cooling, crystallisation and granulation. The control of the characteristics of the process air or gas allows a uniform, quick and efficient drying, without compromising the physical characteristics of the treated material. This technology is particularly suitable for sectors such as food, chemical, pharmaceutical, paper, recycling and plastics, where it is essential to maintain high standards of quality, hygiene and process control.

Operation

The principle of operation is based on the fluidisation of the material: the hot air is introduced from below through a perforated grid, lifting the solid particles and creating a dynamic fluidised bed. The vibrating action makes it possible to reduce the fluidisation pressure of the material and, therefore, to optimise consumption, especially for compact products that are not prone to being handled with air alone. In this condition, the material behaves like a fluid, promoting extremely efficient heat transfer and homogeneous drying. The system can be configured to operate in batch or continuous mode, with the possibility of adjusting temperature, air flow and residence time, depending on the characteristics of the product. Exhausted air is treated through filtration and energy recovery systems, making the system more sustainable and compliant with environmental regulations.
