WESTON static screener
The Weston model static screener allows effective solid-liquid separation without the use of any moving parts or motors. The static screener, simple to use, allows the solids contained in the wastewater to be separated with high efficiency. It can be used in water purification companies and institutions, poultry farming, paper mills, distilleries, oil mills, food and canning industries, chemical and fishing industries, municipalities, pigsties, salami factories, soap factories and sugar factories.
Operation
The material in the feed is conveyed through the pipe and slides along the stainless steel plate/selector with a differentiated inclination. The separation occurs by capillarity, thanks to the special section of the bars and the millimetre separation between them. The solid, thus separated, is conveyed by gravity towards the discharge of the WESTON STATIC, while the liquid drains from the piping of the lower collection tank.
