TURBOWEST centrifugal screener
The TURBOWEST control centrifugal screener is used for safety screening of powder or granular products.
Characterised by a versatile and compact construction, the TURBOWEST rotary screener can be installed in different types of industrial plants, including pneumatic conveying lines.
Operation
The product reaches the centrifugal screener through classic feeding systems such as augers, star valves placed on storage silos, dosing systems, etc. The feeding auger, fixed on the drive shaft, transports the product to be processed inside the screening chamber, which is subjected to a centrifugal motion and affected by the mechanical action of the blades fixed on the drive shaft, and then is pushed towards the outer walls of the basket and correctly screened. The finest particles that are considered good product exit the first discharge nozzle passing through the screening network. The coarser particles or agglomerates are conveyed outside the screening chamber to be discarded through the second discharge nozzle of the screener.
